Sometimes life calls us to step away for a while. In my case, it’s been seven months of home maintenance and getting ready to sell our home and move down to cold country. Time away from the computer has instilled me with fresh energy and a pocketful of new thoughts, and I am so happy to return to this space with you.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be writing about the magic and meaning of handwritten letters — how they connect us, comfort us, and remind us that kindness can travel on paper.
